Intricate Machines

Intricate Machines is a five-guy band, comprised of So Cal natives Trevor O’Neill (guitar/vocals), Lee Hepner (keys/vocals), Colin Honigman (drum machines/keys/everything), Shaun Tidwell (drums), and Daniel Landau (bass/vocals).  Their EP made it on to Amoeba Record’s “recommended” list, and a few of their tracks have even started to see some radio airtime.  Visit their website here.

High Places

High Places is an experimental music duo hailing from Brooklyn, NY. The name refers to a place where one has a better vantage point and can gain broader perspective; it references a love for mountains, rooftops, and of course metaphorical “high places.” The band is currently signed with Chicago label Thrill Jockey Records, and have toured with such notable bands as Deerhunter, No Age, Abe Vigoda, Ponytail, Soft Circle, Lucky Dragons, and Hawnay Troof. Visit their MySpace.

Glasser

Glasser is a solo band, featuring a complex variety of instruments and influences; hear you’ll find soaring vocal lines, strong electronic beats, and even the occasional harmonica riff and everything in between. Check out Glasser’s MySpace here.

I’m pretty sure I know the answer, but is it only for students? And do you need tickets?
